At Kidspace Pasadena

So today I am finally feeling like I'm on vacation. And I'll be candid I didn't really spend a whole lot of time making an agenda for a week. More like "let's do what sounds good" in the moment. I talked Johnnie into taking his scooter to go to McDonald's for breakfast. And then we ended up getting me an Earl Grey hot tea from Starbucks next door. Note: Trying to get Johnnie to learn how to balance on the scooter got me into impatient mode though and I could feel myself getting into that impatient space with people on the road. After breakfast I had decided we were going to go to Kidspace Museum in Pasadena. 

The day at Kidspace turned out to be a really big hit. I don't know how I had not discovered it before... because Johnnie could have been at that place all day long there were so many things for him to do. And he liked them all. And so I had to put together a collage of pictures. 

 
This being Tuesday after all, I let Johnnie take his nap after we came back from Kidspace. And then I turned back to normal Tuesday routine. I went to barbecue some Italian sausage, while Johnnie ate penne pasta in chicken noodle soup broth. And then of course we had to make cookies. It was a very good day.
