A Memorable Unmemorable Easter

I intend to connect with my family today.
I intend to see Johnnie today.
I intend to have pleasant, drama-free interactions with Lisa today.
I intend to receive money easily today.
I intend to resolve my internal thinking that brought about the Eloisa email.

It's Easter Sunday and already right off the bat I knew there would be no Easter Sunday egghunt ritual like we had the last few years we enjoyed with Varsha and Balwan and Sharon. Last year we even had Johnnie's brothers on hand. Not this year. We're all locked in. I didn't go to Lisa's for breakfast. We had mentioned lunch and she made no mention of breakfast. Instead I did some meditation and focused on all the material from yesterday's learning. I knew I needed to let all that stuff integrate. And I reminded myself not to focus so much on what I manifested from yesterday's or any other day's list. The idea is to practice practice practice. And simply focus on the feelings that come up when I make the list or when I reflect on the list and whatever I did manifest or not. I did call Lisa when it was close to lunchtime and she called me from where they had gone walking. Apparently her mom wanted to come over for Easter but Lisa had shut down the idea after batting it around for a bit. And so I came over and I figured I would at least enjoy lunch with them. Lisa was tired from all the activity of course but she did still manage to make salmon and green beans for lunch and I made Johnnie a Trader Joe's pizza. Without anyone else it made for a quiet Sunday lunch. I posted a pic of Johnnie looking at his dinosaur book, that's how quiet it turned out to be. And so after lunch Lisa went on to do her piano practice while I watched Johnnie. And we ended up having a pretty good video-free afternoon! We made dinosaurs out of leaves we found in the yard just like we did at my apartment but she has such a larger choice of leaves here. And then Johnnie and I played garage tennis. No matter how goofy that may sound I want to say I got myself a little sweaty playing. And Johnnie I must say at least got around to doing 3 ralies a couple of times. His eye/hand coordination is fine I'd say. By the time I looked up, it was already 4:30PM! We had spent the entire afternoon playing! And I couldn't have been happier it turned out this way. Lisa had piano'd herself out by this time LOL but did make the comment that she was glad how this day was working out. I remembered a few Easter Sundays pre-Johnnie. We still played golf of course and we played at Roosevelt and then ate dinner at a Mediterranean restaurant in Los Feliz. And then there was that Easter Sunday we went on a bike ride and I slammed into a car on my new e-bike. And then we ran into Balwan and Sharon at Sunnin Lebanese. All before we all had kids obviously. For my part I connected sort of with Grace on FB when she posted a pic of that Easter Sunday at WEst Covina when Alex was barely a few years old. I posted pics from that same Sunday on FB. It was 2009 and Lisa and I got married less than a few weeks after that Sunday. Ghost of Easters past LOL. Today was very quiet and not all that memorable except for the fact that it fell on Coronavirus quarantine time. I wanted to show my appreciation by getting us all dinner. Thai food from down the block for Lisa and I, and Panda Express for Johnnie. Off I went at 5 PM and so it was that we had a pretty nice dinner too. Shrimp pad thai for me and Lisa and Johnnie's teriyaki chicken. I knew Lisa wouldn't eat something so I also added wonton soup. I was right. She didn't it the shrimp. I thought that was the best part. Supposedly her stomach could only tolerate salads. smh. I tried Lord. When Johnnie geared up to do his last play stint of the evening, which was to play with the crystal science project. And at that point that was my cue to exit stage left. I had spent 6 hrs here at that point. Had lunch and dinner and I was actually lucky I had done steps in the morning so I only had not that much left to get to my 10,000. Yep, today I am ok with just 10,000. THat would already get me to 78,000 for the week. I remembered I started reaching for 11,000 a day in April of last year. Wow. I had been doing 11,000 since then. Pretty nice and consistent. Anyway I went home and did some more YouTube videos. No Walking Dead to watch. Quiet all around the neighborhood too. Happy memorable unmemorable Easter.
